The Defender dominated the stock class and the classic class at Dakar this year. TLC 300 finished 3rd in stock class and the first LC finished 5th in classic behind LR 1st, the 3 Pajeros, then the 100, then an 80.

Looks like the top Defender team completely crushed the Toyota Auto Body Team -
vehicle issues or was the time difference due to any of the hundreds of other things that have to be handled during the race?

Its good to see LR return to Dakar in force for a while it was just MB and LR in the early days then the Pajeros came and much later the factory Toyota teams

The LX has been sitting in my driveway for almost 2 years untouched. With the arrival
Of 2-3 inches of straight ice, I threw a battery in it and went for it. Had absolutely no brakes but after I flushed and bled them it’s running like it did before I parked it! Instantly made me realize what I have been missing!
I need to invest some money into this thing. With 38s and stock gearing I’m pretty sure my golf cart feels faster.
