Reminds me of John Deere and GM filing DMCA claims at the patent office (a few years ago) in an attempt to prevent folks self-repairing their own vehicles.

I get that Tesla has to CYA due to having life threatening battery stuff going on... but that is ridiculous on the whole.

Yeah, man! You ever try to read the Constitution? What kind of alien scribble is that and who decided how to translate that mess???? ;)

recommend me a TV sound bar w/ bluetooth, please.

I don't NEED a subwoofer with it, but its ok.

I see tons of refurbs on sites like WOOT, but where are all these broken ones coming from originally? They break that often?

New, its either name brands for close to $200 or more, or knock offs for $40. Anything in the middle? Refurb is fine?

Thanks

I have a Vizio 5.1 system with two surround satellites and sub. The satellites are wired to the sub which has it's own power source, but those 3 components are not directly connected to the soundbar, so it is semi-wireless. It was very affordable and sounds great. The bluetooth doesn't seem to remember my mobile devices, so I have to manually connect them each time though.

I'm really enjoying the Sonos stuff, but it is expensive and rarely on sale. Very cool to just move rooms around using your home WiFi vs Bluetooth. Sound quality is great and you can add components around the house or just to your system one at a time.

Im using a samsung soundbar with subwoofer i got from costco 2 or 3 years ago. It replaced a Sony with subwoofer that died at 12 1/2 months (warranty was 12 months, imagine that). It has a bunch of audio inputs (optical, USB, BT, rca, etc). and a nice remote that allows you to do a ton of stuff (sound modes, source, vol, mute, ff, rw, etc). was 150 or so on sale.

I'm old school and invested in a Monitor audio 5 speaker surround sound setup with a M&K subwoofer back in 1999. It was expensive but I wouldn't trade it for anything and we use them every time we watch TV. I currently have a home theater PC hooked up to the Denon AV receiver. I download movies in 1080p format and 5.1 surround sound.

In NC do you have to have the title and a tag for the military trailers?
Pretty sure you do. Once it goes into the civilian market and properly registered with the correct paperwork the state will send you one.

This is one of the things I miss about Alabama. You just walk up with a hand written bill of sale.

Same. I found a military trailer, but no title and probably a nightmare to deal with. The easiest way to do it is to register in AL, get a tag/title and the bring it to N.C. with title.

I’ve registered a few with no title. I’ve gone through the process and it’s not to bad. If you can get the numbers off the trailer you can have state inspector run the numbers to make sure nothing funny is gonna come up before you buy.

That’s a really big, vehicle. Seriously though, I wonder what the chassis/power plant is under that thing.

Posted this up in another forum when I followed one on the highway for a while and was thinking the same thing:
