Chin looks way better! He's a very tolerant beast.... but eating out of his bowl during dinner was a bold move. Meanwhile this brown tail is constant entertainment for her.

Ran into a south african guy the other day that was driving a Defender all over Canada and the US.
Introduced me to a new kind of shooter..... called melkter or something like that, translates into milk tart.
basically a can of condensed milk, can of evaporated milk and 375ml of vodka.... mix. Chill in freezer. Put in small glass or shot glass and sprinkle with cinamon. Dang thing was what i'd call dangerous incredibly tasty, sweet and not a hint of alcohol.
That sounds delicious. We (puertoricans) make something similar called Coquito, but use coconut milk instead of evaporated and rum instead of vodka. Good stuff!
it was pretty damn good especially when it turned to slush from the freezer.
So coconut milk, condensed milk and rum? What kind of rum is the best to mix with that?
2 cans Coconut milk (not creme)
1 can Condensed milk
2 egg yolks (optional)
Pinch of salt
Mix in blender approx. 2 mins. (mainly to make sure the egg yolks are blended in well)
Then add 1-1/2 cups of your preferred Ron blanco (white rum, but tastes great with aged rum as well), sprinkle in some cinnamon or nutmeg. Mix well and then chill. Can be served over ice or straight.
We don't usually put in the freezer, but sounds like I might have to try that the next time!
