Looking at your day 5 route you need to check with the forest service on road closures. The West Fork Fire complex had some closures in the Creede area. They my effect your exit strategy over Stoney Pass.
Thanks for the heads up, I have been watching that fire complex intently and I believe they opened Stony all the way back up to the Creede side over the weekend. I think some areas of the route we will def. have to be scrapped south of Creede but I am really hoping Stony stays open as that looks like a really senic area![]()
