I just purchased a reman Denso starter from rock auto. The core charge is $34. It still works, just starting to sound weak. Just wanted to put it out here in case anyone wants it for the $34.

I'll take it if it's an OEM. I conveniently have a rebuild kit.

Also - @joyRidaz I picked up a Remy alternator from rock auto that was a denso reman. Looks brand new. I'm using a 60 series alternator on my 40.

Funny... super nice looking (by pics) LX450 w/ only 90k. But, I called the guy since the price wasn't listed, and when he started to spit twenty out of is mouth I just hung up. Not sure but then he might have said $22,500. Crazy to me, but it's a beautiful truck from what I can tell. More power to ya' if you want to pay that.

That price and quality of pics are real suspect. The Green LX in Greenville might be an OK option though if the price was cheaper.

There was tons of cheap diesel cruisers around here in 2016 but when it came time for buying in 2017 they all hid from me.... and the only deals flooding the market was 100 series.

First cruiser has been on for months. The fact that it overheats makes me question the rebuild. Kudos to the seller for disclosing the known issues.
Second seems fair for a clapped out cruiser. I doubt if it is locked.
Third is obviously a scam.

No deals that I can see.

Hey guys looking for a center block from a fj62 rear 3rd. Got everything on my truck buttoned back up till the c clip came off spinning the axle.... trying to find one before the xmas trip just seeing if anyone has one local.

Edit: turns out the rear center block on any 40-70 series is the same I wasn't sure.

I did an inspection on the green 97 LX this past week. Upon initial looks it seemed to be a good deal. Looking closer it’s got some issues. Front axle needs to be rebuilt. Cooling system was suspect. Compression. 150 for 1&6 everything else was between 120-130. Intake plenum had duct tape and I suspect it ran broken for some time and burned the valves. CDL didn’t function. P0401. Since the cdl didn’t work I couldn’t confirm the lockers worked without digging into it. Leaks a good deal of oil. Front seats were toast. Normal dings and paint issues. Didn’t look rusty. For me it’s a 1600$ truck if someone were to bring it to me to fix everything. The valves are a deal killer. Someone who wanted a fixer upper this would be a good truck. I believe the lowest they will go is 3600. Not bad for a locked truck that will get you from a to b.
