Feels rough, and I'm suspecting stock TBs could've been cranked/re-indexed to adjust height for the extra weight, but cannot be sure, since I immediately gave mine to a friend who was doing an AHC delete. I've got a 2nd battery, 12.5k Comeup Winch, and TT hidden winch mount--probably 150 extra lbs in all, maybe pushing 200. But it feels stiff on bumps.

It's possible that the Dobinson's shocks are just too stiff--that's why I'd like to swap TBs and see how it handles with that variable changed. Could be that I just need different shocks. . . .

Mine is 100% stock with AHC... I'll let you know when I get mine done.

Reupholstering these is simple... I've done it before on my D90.

I went the FJ40dash.com route. Picked this crackled one up for the retainer bracket. I figured someone could use it with a dash cap or take it to an upholstery shop for something fancy.

That should work just fine. I should have mine installed by the end of August--Just waiting for a reasonably cool day. No worries if you find them somewhere else in the meantime.
