lol we'll see how my confidence is when I get back out on the trails....

Should have added a /s. 😁 Basically all buggy lines. Fully built jeeps with tons and 40s in the videos

This matches what I've heard about good evening ranch. Lots of easy stuff and buggy stuff and not too much in between

No better place to finally find use for your fancy winch than your own side yard at the lake house. Damn wet red mud doing what the mountains and rocks have yet to do.

IH8CLAY
Im sure he doesn’t actually mean “you” Clay @fcowen82 🤣😂🤣

Seriously??? That was a completely unintended foot-in-mouth post! I can't hate what I don't know, so hopefully we'll meet one day and I can decide then!
Well...after having met @fcowen82 at Fall Crawl 2025, and getting to spend some campfire time with him, and having had 2 months to think about it......IDONTH8CLAY. Except for that horrible red snail-snot-slick s*** the South is cursed with.

🤔. It would suck having to find hi octane out west. But still.....

Or....

I shouldn't be looking at this stuff.

I’d totally stick with that 1FZ-FE option if my engine blew up tomorrow…that pricing seems legit as well. I’ve been a GM truck guy my entire life and have had many 6.2s but there is just something about that inline 6 tractor motor in an 80 that makes me want to keep it that way

True. But a little more power and better mpg would be really nice. My 80 seems to be morphing into a rock lander. With a couple cross country trips under her belt and plans for at least one more, my plans for a future powerplant are changing as well.

WOW! Very interesting. So no blown engine?
not today! Once we got it in the building, we could turn the crank, starter did not work, jumped relay, got it to spin, then followed wire diag and found shorted coil connector. Coil was still bolted to valve cover and looked normal.

Great work I would be a very happy owner. There's a whole thread on this issue in the 100 section labeled alert alert alert check your spark plug torque
