Educate me on this compared to what is in it now? Did you check with them to see if they have the front diff?

Time to order a locker or two!!

with lockers and some more flex, the GX would be unstoppable

Maybe?

Maybe?

I saw a youtube video about this, modification is extremely intensive. They cut out a bunch of the wheel wells front and rear inside the truck and modify the body mount ect to make those tires fit then fix and repaint to make it look factory. Lots of work and price makes sense when you see it

100% agree. I’ve seen a ton of the Arctic Truck builds on my trips to Iceland. Mostly Prados and F250s with a few others mixed in. They are 100% awesome builds and I think well worth that starting ‘package’ price if you have the means.

This is the only photo I got on this summer’s trip only because I thought it was cool seeing a 100 series build. This one is minor compared to some though, with the self inflate/deflate air systems and such.

By the way, you can rent these and take them on a week long trip around the entire country on the coast ring road. Enjoying glacial and volcanic wheeling along the way. Just an idea if folks ever want a BIG club trip in which case I’m 100% in lol.

Lets run Pritchett canyon as the first trail when the club goes to Moab next. What an ordeal…

Started watching this at work but stopped right when they got to Moab. Hopefully it’s an interesting series.

It’s a mess

Cant see the video but if this is the Donut series all I can say is Between Fall Crawl and this, 80s are becoming way too interesting to me...

I have not done Pritchett in years. It was an all day adventure with two roll overs, a 40 and a 4runner. winching and some rock stacking. Not something I want to do as a club per say, there would have to be min tire and locker requirements and 35's are not going to cut it.

You mean my GX on 33s won’t do it?? I should’ve added a /s to my original post.

I was thinking of the your story about running it when I was watching this. Not too far from this video

So I just watched this. A couple of things I took from it. We started at 7 am and it still took all day. What time did they start?

Wheeling at night, what a waste of beer drinking time!

An 80 will move and wheel with half the bellhousing cracked, who knew?

That trail will eat your lunch and dinner.....lol

I am not sure if I would have kept going or not. It is still a long way once you exit and get to the top of the last hill, but it is sand roads. Soooo, it is a toss up.

Anyway, I have done it, it is challenging. Not something I would do in my 80, maybe Lynchburg Lemonade?? Race car, Hell yes.
