I have a FJ40 with a '85 FJ60 2F Engine Swap.

Oil pan is leaking under the "bash plate" - probably from one of the welds.

Any recommendations on parts vendors with good prices and reasonable shipping?

I found this - seems fairly recent. Can anyone confirm the part number for the pan and gasket? I can find the pan at ToyotaPartsDeals,, but not the gasket.

Thanks -

Rocky

You can weld the existing oil pan, once you have it off. It's likely a spot weld from the plate pulling away from the pan.

Also, if you have a relationship with your local dealer, you might get a halfway decent price on both parts from them. No shipping charges from the dealer, if you pick it up.

Any Toyota dealer can get it.

New updated oil pan:
12101-61013
Gasket for pan above:
12151-61011
Drain plug for above
90341-12012

Old style pan gasket: 12151-61010

Thanks, All -

I'll probably have to pull off the pan and try and weld it up. It's really leaking pretty good. It's crazy - I just changed the oil, and all of a sudden, its dripping out like crazy.

My local dealership (Desert Toyota) is really high on their pricing, but, I'll see what they can do.

Plenty in stock @ Cruiser Outfitters and we can easily ship today!

Older string. The leak the original poster was experiencing was likely not a crack in the pan but gravity bringing the oil to the space between the pan bottom and the shield. The drain hole on these pans has a cut out on the low side that can leak with a fiber washer.
