I think CB is looking for a wrenching excuse to get a break from changing diapers... ;)

I've got plenty of stuff you can help me with CB! HA!

@patride71 I can change diapers like a F1 crew changes tires. ;)

As soon as your rig is ready, drive it out to my shop and let's start checking boxes on your list of to dos!!

Not much going on this weekend. I spent yesterday with the scouts at a climbing camp out. Today, I started working on two tailgate brackets where the chains mount to. Not too shabby. Made from angle iron.

I keep forgetting to update this. Been busy that last month with work and visiting relatives all over Texas during the holidays. I did manage to get some stuff done.

Monstalined the interior. Tons of work, but this stuff looks to be pretty tough.

Installed new-to-me seat covers that were in great shape. I'll eventually swap in some black stock looking ones. Oh, I also put some seat heaters in. Got them cheap ($40 shipped) off of ebay.

I installed the seat heater controllers on a radio panel that I got from @SMG . Nice little part from a fellow cruiserhead!

I'm going to install some Carling switches and a dual USB port with voltmeter (eBay special).

Man, for being busy with the relatives, you sure got a lot of good stuff done. Nothing like working in the shop!

Good Job!

I'm still working on finishing up the fuel lines and the dizzy. The dizzy I bought off of the MUD classifieds has a leaky vacuum advance diaphragm and the backup dizzy I had is from a 62. So, I'm on the hunt for another one. :(

Thanks Ron! Yeah, any chance I can get I'm in the shop. I'm really trying to get this done because I have a full plate this year with a house remodel, family trip to celebrate our 20th anniversary, and I'm going to start an MBA program next Fall. Running out of time!!!

Here's a tech related question. My seats came all in pieces and I think I have most of the hardware to put them back together, but I'm confused as to what goes in the gap in the space where the upper and lower parts pivot. Spacer of some sort? There's about a 1/4" gap there.

Nice work! Couple questions: Did you spray or brush on the Monstaliner? Which LED headlights did you end up using? They sure are spendy critters!! And last question, what did you use for the tranny hump gasket??

Cheers!

Thanks very much for the info. I am in somewhat similar state with my resto...just primed the inside of the tub with epoxy, once it is good and cured, next step is a liner...Monsta may be the direction I go, it looks really nice!

Cheers

What makes the application of Monsterliner a ton of work? Not being sarcastic as I have a gallon and plan to apply in the next couple months once the tub is painted.
