Don’t forget your jacket on the camping trip. My phone says it’s going to be cold even down here on the coast.

Or you might be one of those people that wears shorts and sandals even in the snow.
The older I get the colder I get. I’m loaded with warm clothes.

My 17 yo son camped with some friends a few weeks ago. It dropped into the upper 30s. I didn’t give him any advice but sent him off with case of water and my 20 degree sleeping bag. When he got home he said the other boys were ill prepared. And then thanked me.

It was cold. Very cold. These are temps on a couple of the morning wake ups

The only part I was waiting on was the Koito H4s. They arrived today and I got them installed.

It’s supposed to warm up later in the week and I’ll put a fresh coat of Fluid Film on the underside.

Aight. That’s done.

Took it on a drive and the steering is 💥💥

Got the steering wheel on straight and then gave it a nice undercoat of Fluid Film.

Done. Now I need to get a few days to make an Asheville run.

One day....😅

IAC is at 43 with it fully warmed up and idling at 176 degrees?
IMG_5916.jpeg

Damn sure is. I adjusted it down here. Not sure what would make it jump to 43 unless he has his foot on the throttle

That number is like the stock market. It was running north of 19 after you dropped it off. Stalled every other time I came to a stop. Very hard to restart it. I adjusted it at full temp down to 7 yesterday morning - two quarter turns. Shut it down to mount that module. Started it back up ten minutes later and there you go - sitting there at 43 at idle. I'll futz some more with it today.

Been down that rabbit hole! I finally read enough of @wngrog posts to get a novice understanding of the Sniper and IAC over the past couple of years.

Seems I experience it all, snagged throttle cable causing partial open throttle, bad O2 sensor, a few minor timing adjustments, etc., I still can’t get it as perfect as some Nolan’s builds, but his posts sure have gotten me close.

Glad to see it is back in NC, help all is well (getting better) on that side of the mountain!
