You are very creative Mike!! Nice Jet tools too!!

I'm not mechanically gifted, but I think, if your tolerances are tight, it will probably work well... For a limited number of iterations, being its wood.

But, for the number of times you are likely to use it, use it carefully and it will probably serve you well.

Of course, given I know very little about the science behind the knuckles tolerances... I could be wrong... ;)

Thanks Danny! We'll see how it works out hopefully without any glitches.
How did you center yours when Riley helped you rebuild the knuckles?

I don't recall  I hadn't done mechanical work since the early '80s and was lost for much of the time... I think I went to the back of 44 and he was working on the front

I remember he said there were some excellent YouTube videos.

I plan to use your documentation, when/if I have to... So, keep up the great documentation or, I'll have to bring 44 to you... ;)

No problem I will gladly work on your 44, any time any place, preferably my shop. :)

Danny, You are welcomed to visit me any time!
Is your 44 back in action?

Definitely CCW, wow no reciprocity that sucks.

All the bits and pieces are getting cleaned up and painted, slowly getting things done.

Here's a couple of progress pics.

New air pump painted @GA Architect was kind enough to sell it to me.
The air pump will be installed after the front suspension is complete.

Since I wasn't happy with the previous knuckle rebuild kit purchased and was subsequently returned to Man-A-Fre. Today I purchased this kit from TORFAB in Everett WA. and it's a suburb and excellent quality kit with Koyo bearings and Marlin inner seals. TORFAB is the place call Adam or Tor and they will take good care of you.

NICE!.....Some where down the road, I'll be doing this. I'll be interested in your thoughts on this kit vs what has been posted about other kits. It appears you could not go wrong with the manufacture of parts for this kit.
