thanks, @wngrog

@fountainhead There is not a way to get the tundra supercharger to fit the 200 series, at least nothing bolt-on. IIRC, it has something to do with the exhaust manifold and computer bugs.

Summit Racing bought the rights to TJM, and AFAIK are one of the only importers now.

Not sure about the winch, I am liking the looks of the Comeups, and the new Smittybuilt X20 waterproof winches.

Any complaints, @ntsaint ?

None yet. The wireless control is sweet, and it was a very easy setup.

That being said, I've only done 'web winching' so far :)

I did use it to pull a dead ranger onto a trailer, and tested it pulling my truck in up a hill, but that's it. No real-world use.

Better go ahead and start looking for a 5.7 supercharger before they become unobtainium...she heavy.
Big is better, and too much is just right!

I would poll Cam before pulling the trigger on Smittybuilt. His let him down when needed the most. Spend the money on warn and know it is there and can be used.

But as pretty as that truck is I would not even put one on the front. Then it limits you on where you will or willing to put the heavy beast.

If pretty counts and this winch will be in the elements (sun) then the Smittybilt sux for that. The one that was on my LX450 looked terrible when I sold it. Stickers coming off or faded bad.

Yeah, pretty is important. I agree. The winch on my 100 is barely visable. You could stuff anything in there to not use and save the $1500 that my winch cost.

My Smittybuilt on the 60 works. Its slow as hell, but it works after sitting in the weather for 5 years. As Jeff says, it looks like hell right not though.

Whatever I decide to get, it will be completely covered by the bullbar. Pretty does't count.

More interested in middle of the road performance and price. I'd love to get the winch and line for <$1000, and have a 10k-12k lb pulling capacity.

I'll be buying some LED spotlights similar to the ARB intensities, but believe it or not, there are some even brighter and better performing lights out there. I am probably going to go with something like these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181655384452?rmvSB=true

X2O with synthetic rope $725 out the door at smittybiltdepot.com

When i bought mine at Amazon i got an email the next day saying 90 day backorder, even though on the site it showed in stock. Had to look elsewhere.

text me on winches and I might be able to save a dollar or two...

warn, smittybuilt, superwinch, ironman...

Chris, what about comeups, and TJMs?

cool. Good to know. Don't have too much fun where you're at.

Got the lever and adjustments tweaked on the ARB carrier. Did mirror finishes on the mating points in the lever, and coated everything in Royal Purple synthetic grease. I can now unlatch it with a single finger, and the gas strut opens it for me. I can also effortlessly close it and latch it, and there is no play in the mechanism.

TJM bumper should be here monday, and I'll immediately get to getting it installed as soon as I can.

Installed LEDs in the headlights yesterday. I must say, I was skeptical at first, but after getting them in, I am really impressed. 3,500 lumens per bulb at 6k. and CREE chips. 2 year warranty with a (supposedly) 50,000 hour life.

First impressions: They are MUCH brighter than the halogens they replaced; street signs really pop now. They do not have as much throw as the halogens, but they certainly brighten things up much more than the halogens for things within about 200 yards or so.

Sorry that I don't use better light-lingo, but I'd be lying if I tried to use a bunch of fancy terms. I tried to take some shots, but the bulbs are so bright, the camera has trouble taking the pic. I'll take some better quality pics later.

The brand is called Opt7. Of course they are Chinese, but they are very well made and packaged.
