Great rigs everyone! Really enjoying seeing the way others have outfitted their setups.

*Kurt realizing he has a broader vehicle market?

But of course :D

In reality the PO of Cruiser Outfitters was into "Expedition" before it was a household name and buzzword on the forums... things like freezer-fridges, RTT's, off-road trailers, snorkels and limb risers were common items amongst the shop when I was just a joe shmoe shop hand there. I must admit that when I started working there in 99'ish I thought some of his 'overlanding' ideas were a bit far fetched and simply a waste of time and money. Within a few years he had me convinced to their merits and soon I was the owner of a fridge, a snorkel and building my own off-road trailer which I still use regularly these days. So while we by no means invented the 'overland' schema, we've been 'doing-it' longer than most ;)

The PO of Cruiser Outfitters (Darrel) has a really killer FJ45, again he is responsible for opening my eyes to the whole 'expedition' concept.

THANKS FOR EVERYONE POSTING AND INSPIRING!!!

GCRad1: Where you drive your expedition vehicle is a lot more relevant to it's "expeditionyness" than the goodies you add to it.

Kinda like many other things in life . Just do your thing, set your own paths, and take lots of pics and tell the stories. Besides, throw your KTM and other off-road stuff into the mix and I know you have stories to share!

That's the one part of Canada I really want to go n explore... from Quebec to PEI and north to Labrador...!!

Cool JDM yah got there..!!!
Trans Labrador Highway and Trans Taiga Road are both on my list for exploration. Of course it is a bit of a drive to go from one to the other.;) Something about the terrain between being impassable.

My 82 hilux, packing it up for another camping trip, I just got the camper back on, and the LED marker light's installed.

Its in good shape for an 82;)

FJ-55 expedition worthy

Ive been watching this thread for awhile and thought maybe it needed an FJ-55.
Sherman the Family Tank is a 1972 FJ-55 w newer 2F and lots of other stuff. The trailer is an old military flatbed (M716) we built sides on.
Not the newest, but still very capable. Cheers

That set up looks nice. Everything is built up and looks good together. Do you like having an open bed compared to something like an 80 or 4Runner?
