Man. These inserts take a lot of time to install correctly but wow, what a beautiful upgrade.

Last two .... for now. I’ll do the B pillar when the seat belts come back

It was so long ago it seems when I fixed all these rusted panels and doors but man. This all is so nice to get done and finished.

Finished up the day getting the steering rod extension added.

I think I’m caught up with big projects until I get the motor snatched out of the oL Milk Jug and resealed. Once I see something I’d about to head this way from @orangefj45 I’ll go pry @under_psi ’s baby from him.

I just like to dabble :cautious:
I've been following several of @wngrog builds and finds. He does great work on everything I've seen, and this is no different.

I guess you can put enough lipstick on a pig to make it beautiful.

Thank you sir. I love seeing them come together

And I love that it's all, mostly original.
Love it.
Keep it up.
Except for the front bucket seats, H55f, FJ80 steering box, radio, and rear disc brakes. Am I forgetting anything? Sure the motor is coming from a 60 series, but it is 2F. Reproduction interior panels?

I just meant it looks stock at a glance which is a good thing. He's done well to preserve the antiquity of these things and I appreciate it.

Too often people take them and make them into something so custom you can barely tell what it started off as.

I'll make sure to keep my comments to a minimum to not be lambasted. 🤣

No, I was kind of agreeing with you. I’ve tried getting as many Toyota OEM parts as possible for this build.

I did forget the Sniper EFI, exhaust header, and Performance Distributor’s DUI. I think the Limo is pretty dang close to stock. One thing I did struggle with was going to front buckets instead of a bench, but I think these seats will make my wife (@shayahealth) happier in the long run

edit: I am keeping the original front bench, so if I ever want to change my mind I can since the bucket bracket attaches to factory seat mount points. :)

One thing that hasn’t arrived at @wngrog place yet is I polished up all the factory seatbelt hardware and sent everything to a place that will put new webbing in it and even transfer the original tags over to the new webbing. I’m doing my best at keeping what I can factory.

well @frismanis what started out as a Nolen / Mike project, has evolved into my opinion being considered in matters of comfort. Thank you for skipping OEM in lieu of a safer more comfy seat for longer drives. Nolen the panels look awesome, nice work on all of this.

Some things getting done today that have been on the list.

Got the sway bar ends lengthened and the Mosley design steering stabilizer mount welded together. This is 2 1.25” tube clamps with a tab off of a FJ60 long TRE welded on.

Put things back in the sides of the engine bay to get them out of the way and reran the wiring harness.
