Just brainstorming here guys...

What about keeping the 15BF plate, both pieces of the stock aluminum bellhousing (360mm flywheel, 300mm clutch and pressure plate) and then fab an adapter to mount the h55f. That would make it a 3-piece bellhousing.

All of these provided the input shaft is long enough. This is similar to what another guy did in his 15BF swap.

New fav thread on 'MUD. OP any updates?

What's left over from the 1993 land cruiser I have to fit the front axle and suspension onto my Hilux chassis
I don't know if I should first fit this or the engine to my frame:hmm:

JDM 5vzfe and r150 gearbox came out Body is also unbolted. I'm going to try dry fitting the 15bt with the bell housing tomorrow after work.

I just caught up to this thread, I do like you style - getting on top of the job! Lots of good
tech here, lots of good ideas.

Thanks cruiser pilot I plan to have everything mocked up within next week. My work schedule it's busy so. It's taking all my time

Looks like a lot of clearance issues. My main concern at this point is the alternator hitting the frame. I'm going to have to relocate
Does anyone here have experience swapping a.15bt to a 1993 hilux chassis??

Looks like I'm going to have to re-locate the alternator to the top. Have I seen 15b engines with the alternator on the top of the engine. If so. Then I need to find that bracket.
Anyone??

Fj80 front axle being fitted to dually frame. I measured and recorded all angles and dimensions from fj80 frame. Now it's time to fabricate boots and brackets.
