3b inputs are 3b inputs, they fit the cast iron or aluminum (original poster ignore this info, you do not want a cast iron bellhousing).

So. Is that a good thing that my gearbox have the "ears" ?View attachment 1305124 The "ears" are the small tabs located on the upper section of the retainer on either side of your input shaft. My illustration is of an early one without them.
Tapage, an HZ/HD-T input shaft part number will not work with a B series Bellhousing. You have listed an incorrect part number for this thread
