How to get a diesel freak and an anti 1FZFE freak in the same place?

But maybe a 'good' filter for a couple bucks extra would be worth wasting since the oil will be full of so much crap.

What the heck is that blue thing attached to the side of that motor that you just spent all that time and money on?

I was wondering the same thing...

Engine looks good, Ash!

Y'all have been brainwashed by the collective masses for too long :flipoff2:

Same reason why I'll be using cheap oil for the first run all of about two hours.

Hm.. just stumbled onto this thread. This must be why you never call or write anymore! :D

Nice work Ash. Get ready to be flown out to Chicago for a few days this summer for some R&R and a head gasket PM.

Keep up the good work

Sure you don't wanna come to my house instead? :D Sure would make it easier for those impromptu parts run!

You know I'd be there in a heartbeat if I didn't have a job and a wedding I have to be at next month. :D I have the same parts hook-up here, but I have to hold their hands to get even the easy stuff. ;)

who says anything about next month? You have the entire 2009....

Look good Ali! (rolling eyes...way, Way, WAY too much time on his hands to ever be doing anything like this!)

:D

She's finally going back in!! :bounce:

I should have the 80 running by the end of today if all goes smoothly.

GOING BACK IN?!?!?! Last I checked, it was in. :flipoff2:

What are you doing on MUD while you have accessories and complicated EFI stuff to be plugging in?

Crap, I can't find a fuel filter bolt (with the hole to let fuel through) in it  I bet it got tossed some how.

Banjo bolt.

Yup, that's it and currently it's a show stopper. I think I'll head down to Evan's when he's at work tomorrow and steal it.

Good plan. But I saw an even closer Grey FZJ-80, why wouldn't that one work? :flipoff2:

I'm pretty sure I don't see anything like that on any of our motors.

That's why I won't even empty the trash until projects at least run again. Lessons learned my friend. That's when you realize you need a much bigger trashcan. ;)

I think a banjo bolt is a banjo bolt. I might have one too. If not I'm going to the boneyard tomorrow. I can snag one if need be.

I have a feeling that it was attached to the fuel line and fell on the ground and blended in nicely with the rocks!

Let me see if Diesel Dan has one, if not then it might be coming out of my 80 for the time being.

All i got left is radiator, fan, and connect up the hoses. I'll do the "previa hose" mod on the PS while I'm in there. I can taste it now....

Thanks fellas.

I am 99% sure that I have one in the truck. The truck is with me at work today so let me know if you are headed this way and we can go out to the parking lot and rummage around in the drawers.

Ash,

I picked up two banjo bolts at the u-pull this morning. Let me know.
