I recently found another 1962 near me. I'll provide VIN# and where I found it as soon as I buy it!

Just paid for this rig this morning and is my third 1962. It's another parts truck. I needed the roof cap from it for my FJ25 and some spare parts for the 1962 FJ40. I should have a bunch of stuff for sale if anybody is in need. Somebody just bought the air cleaner from this rig last week! I shouldn't have procrastinated! Which one of you bastards was it?

I figured... are the front and rear seats there?
 
I am in for windscreen vent flap, early glass bowl fuel filter with mounting bracket, all the early dash board switches, front bumper (if it is FJ25 style), steering wheel, Engine valve cover, Seat belts & mounting bolts, Accelerator pedal to carb linkage and speedo assy.

Your vin and your rear wheel wells say FJ40.
 
My frame number is2-FJ40-16899 has I'd plate still attached made in Japan is there any way to track the history of my beast or find my original engine where a bouts engine number F175236 any info would be appritiated cheers
