Wow, that was fast. You must have something to offer with much of the country scrambling to find work. A nice feeling for sure.
You are telling me Ron!
Feeling very fortunate these days.
I think the saying is "even a blind squirrel finds a nut some days"...

Bump this one today, the most important “project” of all, life.

Still months of the covid BS to go, hope everyone is holding together!?

My family is doing fairly well all considered, our son is officially done with gr12 courses and today was day 1 of trades school electrical...it’s a satellite class joint effort right in his high school but with covid it’s 100% on-line. Less than ideal for trades training. Daughter seems smarter than both of us at the top of all her classes.
Wife is getting her wrist cast off this week after she wiped out on a beach log during a wheeling trip back in late Dec, so I’ve gotten to get familiar with the kitchen & laundry chores again after ~20yrs...some of which I even enjoyed.
I’m going stir crazy with office workload and basement Reno’s but no “fun” and with our current guidelines not seeing anyone or going anywhere but work...my big excitement is when I stop for fuel every 2 weeks, blah.

Anyways that Dec day out WAS beautiful, gotta focus on the horizon some days to make it palatable.

A lot of people got hit hard during this pandemic but there are plenty of industries that never slowed down. It is an eye opener for the people that never go thru this ebb and flow. With surveying so closely tied to the housing market this is a 10 year cycle for us and construction workers. Luckily now my main client is electric and gas companies. And being in fire country the main goal is to make electric delivery safer. I've got 300+ miles of underground electric work in various stages and just booked another 30 today. I am so busy I would welcome a lay off. Not really but man I need a vacation. And not another staycation.

Doing great. Wife and I have both been stabbed twice with COVID vaccine needles. It has been a few weeks since the second doses, so we ran antibody tests, and they are through the roof, so looks like we are safe (for the time being). We have a s***ton of United Airline voucher monies due to multiple cancelled conferences we were scheduled to attend last spring, so we are now trying to decide where we want to go for our wedding anniversary trip.

As for our small clinic, we've weathered the COVID storm and came out stronger than ever.

Hope I didn't just bring disaster to my life by posting this...

Made it out for a few fun excursions with the kiddos last month. We are lucky to have 70 degree weather this time of year which lends itself to patio dining at a social distance. Mama is pregnant with #4 (Due in July) so I won't be joining you for a PP'21 if there is one. Miss wheeling with you guys. Hope you are doing well.

P.S.
Even got to get out for some Moto Therapy last weekend. Feeling lucky.

Congrats on number 4! You've got a beautiful family and I'm sure they're all looking forward to the baby, well except the one who has to share their bedroom with the new guy. :)
Ha! Thanks! I think #4 will be rooming with me. #needabiggerhouse

It's been explained to me many times in Porsche circles that you can sleep in your car but you can't drive your house.
Congrats...miss you on our outings.

And just like that... yesterday our receptionist's computer crashed, and her account got corrupted, so I had to rebuild her iMac in the middle of clinic. After clinic closed I had to replace the clinic's phone router (due to it dropping the active call when a second line was on hold and a 3rd call came in), and when I plugged in the new one it catastrophically crashed both our wifi networks and the phone system. A full 18 hour day of complete IT disasters.
