Not what you want to hear but it's not that expensive to change to 16" rims. You get a lot more choice in 16" vs 15".

LOLOL!! 'Build thread' is a little bit of a misnomer. Mostly I just whatsapp people and ask them to do things for me. Here's an example dealing with lug nuts:Like usual, your build thread provides much excitement.
I've lost count, how many cruisers do you have now? Stateside and UAE?
How tall are they? Were they hard to find? I'm starting to think about new rims in spite of myself. Maybe even new rims from Toyota.Either way. My 1994 has 16" splits with new Dunlop 7.50x16 tires and I plan on keeping them....at least for now.

I really would like to put the most appropriate rubber on the pickup before shipping it over to my son. If you could snap a photo of the details on the tire that would be great, but I suspect that SP Qualfier should be enough info. I just tried calling the dunlop pro shops here in Dubai, but they just closed. Will try again in the morning. Thanks for the suggestion!John, the pickup came with new Toyota split rims and the Dunlop SP Qualifier tires. The spare was trashed and I didn't have any trouble finding one although I did have to get a Dunlop dealership to order it (took maybe 2 days?). They are advertised as 31.8" on 6" rims. I'm out of town but can measure the standing height when I get home if you want. These tires are not available in the US and they are radials and "tube type" which I think means tube friendly. I don't think you have to use a tube with them. Not sure what I will do for tires if and when I ever need them in the US.
THank you G! Those look like real 'work truck' tires. Very appropriate. I've never seen a tire size in this format before. Very interesting. Glad to have the photos so I can show them to the dunlop guys and say, well you can buy them in KSA... I found a lot of ads for Dunlop SP Qualifier TG21 7.50 R16 114/112S in countries outside the Middle East, like South Africa and the UK, but nothing here. How odd. Here ya go.
as some have already suggested , go for the 16 " rims .
plenty of choice on tires .
the best size tire for HZ1 on road is 265/75/16 , in off road 7,50/16.
just my opinion
