Thanks man. I don’t drive it much in this heat but I can’t stand a dead Cruiser.

Whats the proper part number for the 1967 windshield gasket? I know it’s smaller than the later ones.

Here ya go Nolan, pieces should still be available from Toyota.
The gasket and the rubber key.

I looked up and I still have a week until my next paying shop project arrives off the boat from Saudi Arabia and realized I have only a day or so left on this project.

I stepped outside and the MS heat had slacked so I pulled up the weather app and damn. We have a cold front in July.

I pulled up my favorite town in the Ozarks and it said tomorrow night it will be 60 degrees.

This project is parked until next week.

The 70 is packed. See yall next week.

Nolan:
Can you please share more info on the Lloyd Mats... Custom fit or did you have to modify?
Thanks.

They are made to for. Cruiser Corps sells them

Wrapping the header would alleviate most of the issue

I had this one Cerakoted. It’s good for a bit of heat protection. Layers is what I’ve found works best.

Sniper installed. Coolant in. Rocket City Hippity Hop 2F fired right the F up.

Rory breaks them in on the engine stand so I don’t have to do a break in. It’s ready to roll. Smooth as silk. We shall see how this thing pulls tomorrow.

I did a quick run in my normal test route. Engine runs fantastic. I’m at 13* advance and have a little ping but it runs great here. No diesel at shutoff so I think I’ll fill it up with 93 octane and see if the ping Goes away and I can keep the higher timing.

Good test.

My copper oil pressure fitting that is on the oil fitter holder/housing is leaking. I tried JB weld and that didn’t work. I need to either get another housing and retap it or pull this one and have the Wizard weld it.

Not sure about welding brass to aluminum.
