Moved onto the rear section of the roof.
Cut out the rust. Now to make some replacement parts.

The roof isn't square, infact the roof is wider in the middle then the ends. Just another tricky replacement part needed.

We're one step closer to putting the roof back on.

All the drawings and photos I've seen is in this spot. @brisveganbj42 helped me out a lot with the measurements.
My engineer was saying the lower link mount adds a heap of strength to that area

Another day on ACID. Stretch the legs.
Putting together the 'to do' list including paint, winch and all the fiddly things.

In rust news, I have found a shop to help me finish off the roof. I have a few goals I want to hit this year, and a professional touch will get me there by end of year.

Rear section started. Made a jig with some spare 50x50 box and ground down the raduis curve from the centre profile out to the edges.

Drilled and bolted down to prevent movement.

Tacced and shaped to suit.

Both L/R sections now done, hopefully can make this an easy process. Might be added to our 55 Roof kit.

Rear end weekend.

Sandblasting is not the cleanest work but damn it's satisfying.

Should have the rear sections ready to be welded into the car next week.

What can I say, I'm a sucker for punishment.
Pretty flash for something I won't hopefully see for another 25 years.

Rear D Pillar inner channel covers.

Months of hard work, planning and development are now something physical.

My first FJ55 Roof Channel/Gutter kit has been stamped out for a customer. For me it's super meaningful that I can help another person with their goals.

A few hours behind the tools now to shape and joggle before being sent out.
