- 622 – Nebula Green: The most common factory green for the FJ55, widely used from 1972 onwards. It is a medium-to-dark olive tone. When paired with Cygnus White (012), it creates the signature two-tone look.
- T303 – Fashion Green: Used on early-model FJ55s from roughly 1969 to 1971. It was often paired with Olympus White (T1453) or Cygnus White (012).
- 621 – Rustic Green: While more famously seen on the FJ40, this dark olive green was also applied to some mid-to-late 1970s FJ55 models, paired with white accents (Combination Code 277
If that's what you want then I wouldn't worry too much about what we think. It's a nice combo. FWIW I like the original brown color. Can't recall which brown that is though.

JMack gave me some beta before you paint or after- 3M Cavity Wax in all the spaces inside the roofline, down the insides of the rear fender flares, all those places that suck with rusting.
Also, that add, 'For A Hard Earned Thirst', that is the image that I see when I think Iron Pig! So great!

I did some collating last night and with my lovely wife's help put together a photo package for the painter.
Was also lucky to find a Colour Instruction Drawing on an old ih8mud thread.

Here is the color and spec chart for the US-Spec Land Cruiser from 1968-1979. If you see an error please post it here and I will correct the page and graphic ASAP. You can upload a photo of your car to the site by clicking on the above graphic, then clicking on the appropriate camera icon next to your color.

I thought Fashion Green was a light color, I might have been thinking Breath Green:
Before long, we decided to paint the entire Pig, inside and out.
So everything came off. Everything. It all went into little bags that we labeled. I also had to figure out what color this Pig was, so I could buy the right paint. I posted in several of the color code threads about this.
Of course I also thought about painting the Pig with Chrysler's High Impact Panther Pink!
Ultimately I determined the Pig was Nebula green. Someone, I forgot who, was kind enough to send me some spray outs of different greens that Toyota used around '74: Breathe Green and Fashion Green.
So everything came off. Everything. It all went into little bags that we labeled. I also had to figure out what color this Pig was, so I could buy the right paint. I posted in several of the color code threads about this.
