Posted this elsewhere and was directed here! My father passed away a month and a half ago from cancer.
Yesterday I found a couple pictures dated from January 1984 (I was born in 1991). The man with the gun and welder's cap was my father.

Sorry to hear about your dad man. My dad just passed away this May , 4 days after my wife and I had our third child and first baby girl in the family. What a bitter sweet week it was with my old man having a heart attack at 63 doing what he enjoyed, working in his garage. It's tough to lose a father ; they leave a lasting impression on us. I found some old pictures of my dads old 73' 40. I'll post them as soon as I can. ... Great thread.

First one is my first vehicle I was 15 year was 86 the 40 was a 72 no top... doors... nothing but what you see. Talk about paying a price for cool. Showed up wet to school on rainy days and frozen on the rare sub freezing days in S. Texas.

Second is my second vehicle, a 76. I thought this was a Cadillac by comparison.
Pic probably from about 88.

Very cool! Pics of the one you have now?

Somebody asked for a lion. We had this fellow eat our spare tire in South Africa in 2006. His partner popped our left rear tire at the same time. We drove out of the park on a flat and had to borrow a spare from the game preserve to drive home. Vehicle is a non vintage 2005 LC Prado, but the lion is vintage.

Holy Mother of God that is one hell of a picture.

Fantastic vids, Im going to save em...
I can see why #4 is your favorite... Ha

While you were at it why didn't you remove the cancer stick from his mouth. Do that and I would like a copy. Thx

You say that because you know about the camel stuff.
If you see this pic for the first time you think... is he chewing on a piece of bamboo?

True, but too white and short for bamboo. I say nothing in the mouth, unless a big spliff. ;)
