This is a nice thread! I like seeing folks who appreciate a solid vehicle and keep it going. I wish I knew how to locate this rig to help get it back to the proper custodian.

Dads 1972

These are some pictures of my Dads 1972 he bought it new in Oregon (1st picture) and then moved to Montana (2nd pic) with one of my siblings and my dad in it in the late 70's, we took it with us to Virgina, and back to Wyoming. We had this rig until around 2003 when it was sold out of the family :bang: ....sept of 2012 I tracked it down and bought it! I will put up pictures of it now when i can. And I will put up more old ones as I find them

I genuinely dig the staggered tire setup on this.

Sent from the monkey house.

My '70 in 1977 in front of my cabin in Frisco, CO w/ then girlfriend's Saab 96 and her girlfriend's circa '62 Bug. Then girlfriend is now my wife of 32 years and still drives Saabs and her friend still has the VW. Long time ago. The license plate on the Saab is now on my FJ62.
What a great thread - hadn't looked at this picture in many moons. Very cool to see all of the old iron being posted up.
Steve's FJ40 between Saab 96 and Bonny's bug at cabin in 1977.webp

My daughter (26 now) just sent me a pic of her first turn of the wheel in my old 76 40, still wish I had that truck.

Girlfriend and Girlfriend's Friend at your cabin........
Bottle of wine.......
Sounds like a good time!

The temperature here in north Florida just dipped below freezing reminding me of the time it snowed down here in 1976. Then I said to myself: "Self, I have a picture of that!" So here it is - the Cruiser under a heavy blanket of snow in Florida. (Heavy blanket is a relative description.) Oh yea, and the wife's 1970 Fiat 124 Sport Spyder is under all that snow too.
