early front door latches

Been searching for hours for a picture or answer to my question on door strikers for some earlier front half doors I bought.
They didn't come with any hardware and I thought I had gathered all the parts to put them together when it warms up.I bought strikers for the b pillars and the paddle handles.Now I'm seeing glimpses of a part that mounts on the side of the door itself.
I can't find a good picture of it or the proper name of the part, has anyone dealt with this issue with the strikers. Thanks in advance.

Paddle handles sounds like something aftermarket. Post a picture of your half doors.

I'm not sure of the year doors ,early seventies I think. I'm going to use them on a 77 with aqualu tub.I see two holes on the side of the door but don't have the part.I'm guessing the strikers are two peices now.

Thanks Josh, i guess that part slides into the striker I bought to mount to the b pillar.Any idea what they call it,because I'm not seein it at sor or any of the other vendors sites in thier pictures.

I don't know what they are called but I might have an extra pair. If I do I will be more than happy to send them to you. I will let you know if I can track them down.

The doors aren't going to work on the later tub without modifying the area where the striker mounts.

By modifying do you mean just placement of the striker on the b pillar or having to add something else?

Yes the earlier strikers mount much closer to the outside of the tub than the later strikers.
