Is AC compressor mounted?

Yes.

Brief recap.

Used a 3FE PS motor mount, which is necessary to attach the 3FE brackets on the PS.

Used a late 2F/3F head, which has the necessary mounting points, just like the 3FE, to attach the PS monstrosity of mount.

Ran into trouble and had to machine a spacer at the bottom of the mount, where it attaches to the PS motor mount, because the 2F block is ~2" taller than a 3F/3FE.

Live and learn...

On yours, since a 3FE, dunno why you wouldn't use the 3FE PS motor mount and the complete bracket, but surely a reason I'm forgetting.

Where are you sourcing your 3F AC compressor?

3F and 3FE are the same compressor, as far as I know. Most all from the two interchange.

Exactly what I am doing for compressor bracket, just hoping compressor and lines fit in the 55 engine bay.

Can you post pics?

I was just wondering where is the best price for compressors; Toyota or a manufacturer/supplier...

it's like a hot dog and a hallway down there...ms. piggy will never know it's there...that's my story, and i's stickin too it

besides, for cold air, I'd cut the frame, at this point in life...

Only I've seen was in Ryan's pig, which was so far a departure from any semblance of OE, it doesn't factor in.

Will call them shortly to confirm.

Sucks to have stuck to the OE fanboy plan all the way down to nearly the end, to conceded defeat and alt for an easier sourced solution, but I can find a viable unit anywhere and tired of looking for rare spares.

Compressor fits.

No lines are routed, yet, but hopefully soon.

Sometime before Christmas.....I hope.

Ordered mine from @beno.

He knows just how I like my rock cooked....

I've tried finding the thread of Dave's that I purchased the one you have from, because I think it described that compressor as "near new". (Be either cruiserloser or Genesis4x4), but if you've got it in hand, think rebuilding would be the easy money.

Yes, I just said that, even though I opted for new.

Kinda a "don't do what I do" or say, for that matter, sorta deal.

Blot some of that on a postage stamp and mail me a letter, please. I can dose and spend six hours watching muppet porn.

Bahahahajahaja.

And thank you sir, I thought it was just an old core for mocking things up. I'll get the manifold for the lines and go to town. Thanks!

Picking this up from SKULLYOTA, a last minute effort at a more elegant solution to the indicator issues that, thus far, have prompted the VM fender lights that function as running and signal.

Having already been fitted with LEDs, I'm thinking it possible to swap the light fixtures for a dual filament (for lack of better. I do know LEDs lack filament, but don't know what a dual function is called, or if they exist) but know nothing about.

Lack the time to spend months consternating over, since BVB is the resident sparky, has the signals left to wire, and will be done very soon, since he's taking a couple of month hiatus.

Anyone know if finding a dual function LED that fits the housing is possible?

I don't care about the legality of side markers. If a real issue, can add later, cutting hole during P&B.

Dual brightness LEDs in that small a size will be tough to find. Perhaps reach out to @1978HJ45 to see if his guy has a source ....

Are you finished with any of your pigs yet?

Lets qualify what finished means. I'm not sure any of us will ever be "finished".

I just got drivable and now I'm thinking link suspension. #WinchesterMysteryPig.
