Highest I've seen mine go is 225. Not a comfortable feeling.Oh yeah, that’s 205 sitting on probably 150-degree asphalt surrounded by hot cars without no air flow with
20-year-old stock radiator and electric fans.
You can get used to no AC. The worst I had was driving the BJ40 last summer. Austin to Little Rock and the temp inside the cab never got below 105 during the day. First time as an adult I drove with no shirt, no shoes in my bathing suit but it was a must.
I'm right there with you. It's been 5 years in the 80 with no AC. I'm thinking you have it worse in Florida with the humidity than I do in Austin.I don’t think I’ve had AC in this rig in five years. It’s always fell to the wayside but now I’m running out of other big projects to do.
I’ve got the compressor on the motor, a sweet 2016 Chevy Sonic condenser, everything under the dash is new, just need to make hoses and charge it up.
It should work really well too with all the modern components
Thats the one thing I miss. The vent pointed at my balls in the 80 series. All this talk about no ac is making my balls hot.... i have ac
Those are great for funneling bees right into you shorts. Been stung a few time with wing windows as a kid.I think he already has the ball blower vent windows... my 93 Toyota extra cab pickup has them lol
