The ARB is a bit cheaper, but with this one I received some thing hand-made with custom bits and I like the way it looks a lot more, it has a number of cool features. Have never cared for the ARB, too bulky looking. I like the Slee shortbus, but when I saw Rich's work, had to have it!

The very first one was under 90. But I made some material thickness changes and a couple other things for strength. And that has brought the weight up. But @TexasD90 can attest to the strength of this bumper. He has a review on here as well. he messaged me a couple weeks ago expressing his happiness with the build quality after making a serious winch pull on his ranch. His diesel f-350 which has a steel flat bed and a 1500lb feed hooper on it full of feed was stuck in mud up to the frame rails. I guess after 3 pulls with a snatch block while having his 80 anchored to his tractor he pulled his f350 out. And he said the bumper didn't budge. Thats a fair amount of weight for an expedition use based bumper. I also offer a heavy duty version as well. All of this and more info will soon be in a thread in the vendors section under armor. I honestly haven't had the time yet and still need to figure out a banner. Lol sorry and thanks for your patience.

Next up are some white knuckle sliders. The starboard side weighs in at 80 pounds, and it feels way heavier than the bumper. Of course I need to get under there and bench press it in place. I'm going to need help. or a Jack. or a big dude named Jack.

(edit) I weighed the sliders. 80 pounds for one side (with the cat)

I'm on the lookout for something to pull out! No ranch here. :( No inclement weather. :( The forest service blocks all the trails when it drizzles. :(

I really need a winch.

Trail Tailor the main fabricator on here is now a vendor for comeup winches. I would recommend the 9.5 seal I think it's called. Ill be contacting him for one sooner or later. Going to move my warn out to the rear and want to try a comeup next. I've heard good things about them. And they are synthetic line friendly. As long as it has the standard 10" x 4.5" foot print and has a removable solenoid box you'd be all set.

Thanks for the plug Rich. I'm ready when you are sir. The 9.5s Seal Gen2 is the synthetic line model. For a little more you can upgrade to the 9.5rs - wireless remote model if that's your cup of tea.

Just let me know. I'll get you taken care of.

Thanks again guys for the compliments. And here's a sneak peak of the heavy duty version with 3/6" wings and added tube work. Sorry for the dark pic it was last night. I should have better pics this weekend. The lights still have plastic on and I still need to cut out for the fair lead and weld on the limb riser mounts as well as a couple other details. But Here's a pic anyways.
 
Did this version ever come to be able to be purchased?

I just picked up my 80 this weekend and asked Rich to build one for me. So hopefully I'm in that "2"...or I can convince him to make it 3.
 
Update, two years later I have had to repaint it twice from push it up & dragging it over boulders. But it has held up Beautifully if it weigh & cost a bit more then a ARB that OK I know it not going to come a part like a cupcake wrapper. Costa Fabs ROCKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What's the time frame for an 80 front bumper as you mentioned these are being put on hold?

I'd like to order one from you, but need to know if we are talking months or years before you get back to building another 80 front.
