I can't commit because you don't know when the kit comes available. But I am very interested. My SCBA bottle from the FD fills to 3000psi, but like CO2, is a finite amount, very interested, would be safe to count me in.....subbed

I just spent 45mins on the phone with the shop doing this. The aluminum will be ordered tomorrow and will arrive by the weekend. He is going to be doing the pulleys first and then ship those out to me. The brackets will be laser cut and then welded before those get sent to me. I just need to get my hands on a York compressor. If someone has one that they can do without for a bit I can make it worth your while ;)

so were not paying for shipping atm?? Just need to make sure both BW and mine will be shipped together as we live with in 20 minutes of each other and Canuckistan like to eat us alive on that

I have one ready for this kit. I can send it to you if you want to pay for shipping to you and back; or we can work out something. I am in Dallas. Let me know if you are want me to send it and I will take it to work with me tomorrow and ship it out.

Ugh, I hadn't considered Canada :crybaby:

It is what it is, I messed up by forgetting about you guys. I'll eat the $88 just get both of them in before the ten FREE SHIPPING slots are taken. There is someone in NM getting two kits as well.

Ok here is how things look as of right now:

• (6) committed out of the 15 needed so far
• Manufacturer ordering aluminum tomorrow because I already committed
• Pulley cutting starts next week
• Once pulleys are done they will be shipped to me
• Shop will then start on the brackets
• I will have the pulleys anodized
• Pulleys will then be laser etched with my FAT logo :flipoff2:
• Idler/tensioner will be ordered, likely tomorrow
• Belts will be staggered ordered due to availability starting tomorrow

In the meantime I will be working on a few other nice-ities but not until I get further along on the D-Pillar and Battery Disconnect!!!

but dont worry exchange killed it for me ..... 895.60 cad.....

I have a compressor to ship you also if you need it.

There are tons of options on Amazon. Pretty much any aluminum or steel tank will work so long as it has an input and output port, bung for blow off and a drain. Size depends on where it gets mounted but it seems like the 2.5gallon seems to be the most common. It can be mounted behind the winch, on the DS frame rail, above the spare tire area.

With a York, your tank is stand alone so to speak, meaning you need to manually hook up to fill up or do you setup a 3 way relay (like what air lockers use) with a pressure switch?

I thought about going this route, but since no kit was available when I wanted to get my oba going, I ended up with a magnum. A little noisy, but true 100% duty cycle and can be externally mounted. An option often neglected, probably because of price....
