dibs on a lightly used good quality 12v compressor...my MV50 is slowing down after about 10 years and I keep looking at options... :p;)

Cool to see some more quality products!!

I don't mean to be a squatter on your thread @NLXTACY but I saw you mention it to somebody else in the pick n pull thread. I have a 210 and some extras for sale in the classifieds. I was gonna DIY a bracket but have no extra time and don't really need the power of a York right now so I went cheap with an MV50.

I'll say this about the Wits' End kit, I'm a cheap poor guy and this seems like a great deal for the price. I think I've seen used brackets alone from the first GLWJ run go for this much.

Yeah no worries. There is going to be a mad rush for Yorks now so you won't have that for long ;)

Is there a preference to a right or left side intake with this setup? Looks like I'll probably just buy a rebuilt one online since anything old enough to have a York will have rusted away to nothing by now around here.

Man, I really, really, really wanted to go with the York OBA 3 years ago when I bought my truck but the allure of a S/C kept that space reserved. Fast forward 3 years and talking with folks here in Phoenix and you're heat issues, I'm past the S/C bug. I have a Puma that is wonderful but due to the high current draw, I still have to have the truck running and the hand throttle engaged to keep the RPMs up where the alternator will keep up with the demand. Seems sort of dumb to go through all that and still have to deal with the electrical for the Puma. It's charged on demand due to leak down and the small 2.5Gal tank depletes quickly anyway. I may be in for this but I need to assess funding and logistics...

I've seen it plumbed both ways. Left side intake is handy if you are using the intake canister for clean filtered air. That's about the only thing I can think of.

So, did we hit your number today?

The number is still 15 but I did hit ten so that pays for everything to get started and supplies ordered. I'm ordering enough to do 20 so I make my money on the last 5 that sit on my shelf :P

does anyone know the yorks good??

I found 2 Motocraft D4TA-2875-C2A and they look like 210's but I dont know for sure..... and the kilby site isnt all that helpful atm when you can physically tear the unit apart when your 500 miles from them lol
