I bought two kits. My only complaint is that I have way too many BIG bolts and not enough small ones. I've been replacing almost everything I touch as I go, Good quality.
X2 on not enough small bolts and I would add that there aren't enough nuts, and washers either. I bought one cadmium kit. a little pricey too. There is a great shop in Denver that can get you JIS stuff. They are called AAA metric. 1st and Lipan street I believe. Really helpful guys. Take them the list of what you want. I would then take it and have it plated on your own. The plating place I used charges a 70.00 minimum, but they will do almost a 5 gallon bucket for that. I have heard of guys raiding the junkyard for metric bolts off of Toyota's then getting them plated by the bucket full. Just depends on how much effort you want to put into it.

I wish I could give you a better idea, but get more of the smaller bolts. Its definitely lacking on flat washers and lock washers. Start with his list and then see how it suites you. How far are you going with your build? I am literally replacing every nut and bolt. Ok almost every nut and bolt. I used a lot of the middle sized and small sized stuff. Things like the side cover, water pump, power steering pump, transfer case, etc. were all replaced, but this kit doesn't cover any of that. Ace hardware also carries a lot of zink plated metric stuff just not JIS. If your going to go to AAA metric anyways I would see if they could put together a whole kit for you. You might save some coin that way. You may have to go get it plated on your own. Not sure what they can get plated. I know a plater who will do your stuff for about 70 bucks. American Plating in Denver. One last thought, if AAA is a far drive for you for you call them first. They might ship.
Cheers,
Brian
Can't say enough good stuff about AAA Metric. I sourced the first few orders from them, but then they were not able to guarantee the indented heads, and I felt like that was important to get as close to OEM as possible. I still get all my nuts and washers from them.
I will look at increasing the small M6s and all the nuts and washers. Any specific feedback on the sizes and the amount they need to increase would be appreciated.
Brian, where did you get your CAD plating done? Currently I get it done at an Aircraft shop up in Broomfield, and it cost close to $7/lb. The kit is 15lbs, so it is not cheap.

Not any Lowes I have ever been in. I always check the metric section for stuff I have not seen elsewhere in the big box stores and rarely see anything useful.Lowes has them.
I remember this from your other thread now, I don't think these guys do CAD plating, I have a call into them to make sure though.
Yellow zinc is about $1.60-1.75/lb, so your pricing for that sounds about right.
Any specifics on what you would like to see increase in the kit?
I have not received any specific feedback on the qtys of bolts in the kit, so I am just going to stick with what I have always sent. This will keep the prices down and I think most people have been satisfied with the mix.
I am considering increasing the washers, but I am still not sure about this, I would welcome any specific feedback of what sizes were lacking.
Does anyone know of a source of in indented head bolts (JIS style) in SS for the doors?
.
