Where did your rolling axle stand come from or is it a custom job?

Wow it’s Wednesday. Yesterday I took the seats down to a new guy I used on the FJ60 project I did. The guy that strung me on the last few projects is fired.

I got home and sat down and spent all of Mikes money at Cruiser Corps, Cruiser Outfitters, CCOT and Specter.

This morning I went to the main Autozone since they usually have the rotors and calipers but they only had the later. I’ll have to go down there again Thursday after 4:30 or Friday morning.

Stopped at Lowe’s for more Zepp. Northern for absorbent.

Stopped off at my kick ass local Torta place then got home and got busy cleaning the axle parts that have been on Zepp soak since Sunday

Had to replace a couple lug nuts on the hubs and was blessed to be able to tap out the one broken hub stud

Got everything painted and ready to put back together

Love the builds you do! tastefully done. Are you doing the fj60 disk brakes?

Thank you sir.

This donor axle set is actually 1978 FJ40. Front and rear. Front will be Toyota. Rear will be a TSM disc brake setup

Dobinsons shipping department leaves something to be desired.

Got my lift components and one spring.

Crazy.

Powder Keg finished the stuff from the engine compartment. Sometime this weekend I plan on getting the F135 to the shop to start looking it over and pulling parts for cleaning and powder.

Today I’m excited that my 4 post lift got installed. I have to admit I watched the install more than I worked on the Blue Bird

That said I did get these old turd ball and claw axles ready to pull tomorrow

Placed an order through Jason @TRAIL TAILOR for a complete kit for the 62, they are drop shipped from Dobisons in fl, hopefully it's complete. fingers crossed.

Watching your shop/compound grow is almost as fun as watching your builds.

Thank you. I have an inner wall and a roll up door to buy and I’ll be finished with this phase. I have all the parking spots full of parts for this 40 but I’m sure enjoying having a covered and paved area to work outside my little shop. I sure did not think I would ever be doing this full time or I would have laid it out better

Well, some day I hope to be able to see it in person and lend a hand. I’m sure you’ve got a broom around there somewhere…

You have a nice drop off at the end of this pad. Perfect spot for a drive thru Fluid Film pit.

Got the bezel boxed up and headed to @Godwin for a swap tomorrow. Kiotos ready

Ready to start building back

Looking great. That thing is a twin to my 69, except now it's getting all the upgrades!
