Been doing minor things in preparation for getting the truck inspected and back on the road legally. I did manage to finally bolt down the 10 inch Tuffy console. I was able to have enough room for my hand to work the parking brake!

I can fit two six packs of beer in it I think.

Oregon beer... Deschutes Brewery... is that the Obsidian Stout. That’s my kind of beer.:beer::cheers:
Awesome seeing that 5speed with that diesel power under the hood.:banana::banana:
Remember not to leave that beer in the console for the inspection.

Yep, Obsidian Stout, Grapefruit Sculpin, and some Dogfishhead of some sort.

Those are some of my favorites. Love the work you have done! Hope we can meet one day. I will be heading to Austin routinely this year. Often visit @CenTXFJ60 at his magic barn.

Over lunch today, I installed some flip up cup holders. These things are solid and are made out of stainless steel. They were kinda blingy, so I decided to paint them satin black before I installed them.

These will allow you to have cupholders and still be able to flip the back seat up

Thanks for the link - I've ordered a pair for my truck. I have a poor man's version of the tuffy console, but it should work just fine as the base for the cup holders.
i did the same, thanks David

@Sea Knight and I installed the new-to-me Bilstein shocks this morning. It drives nice and smooth now. The goal this week is to get her inspected!

Found the remains of the toolkit and some some material. I think the sponge pieces were retaining all the moisture down in there.
