Trying to figure out what to do on this rear quarter panel. Weld in small patches or one big piece?

I don't think fabbing your own patch would suck much less than putting in the one made for it. You still are stuck with that long horizontal weld. Just a couple of verticles. Just looked at my two parts trucks, and ya, I'm in Michigan. They're way rusted out there. Anywhoo, you have to weld, and you have to use filler no matter what, just would be $200 ahead.

I like your Bilsteins, any chance you have the part numbers right handy (for the correct length for your lift)? If not no worries, I can search it up. I think I might run those on Chunk.

Wasn't dogging on the Cruiser Corps one either, very cool they put up the $$ to produce such a part.

Never thought you were. No offense taken.

I appreciate you clarifying! I was standing on the rail of a bridge getting ready to jump!

PM me if you want me to check on a used one.

Thanks Mike

@Sea Knight says that they are:
Front: Bilstein 24-002479 Front 4600 Heavy Duty (B6) Shock Absorber Toyota Land Cruiser - Front
Rear: Bilstein 24-011327 Rear 4600 Heavy Duty (B6) Shock Absorber Toyota Land Cruiser - Rear

These were on Lee's 62. He upgraded to the newer fancy Bilsteins with the brushed metal tubes and let me have these. :)

Saw those, but I don't need a giant panel like that. I think I can graft in a smaller piece or fab it myself.

Old wagon guys, Johnny is younger than I am.

And still, I've been doing this 10 years longer than you (by join date anyway) :flipoff2:
