Looking great!!

It is SO CLOSE. If we had those crossmember bolts...

Can't wait to see it bolted in place in the engine bay

With a ton of help from Steve and Galen @bottombracket , we were able to weld in the frame side engine mounts this morning!

If anyone is looking to do a 1 HZ or 1HD swap into a 60 or 62, Georg's mounts makes things easier. For a how-to and pics, see the updated pics that Galen posted in this thread: 1HZ/1HDT engine mounting brackets for 6x series cruisers

What motor mount shock absorber is that?

Now I just need to score a 12v fuel cut solenoid ....and a fully charged battery.

Dave, do you have a 24v solenoid? I will trade you for a 12v.

I have a 12v one from the FT I swapped in, I also have not tested it, I assume its good as the rest of the engine was in working order, I have no use for it, be nice to have a 24v for a spare.

Now that my son's Eagle scout project is done, I had some free time this morning to work on the truck. I wired up the starter circuit with a dedicated relay and also installed another relay for the glow plugs. I also got the oil gauge working.

Oh yeah, I also drained the fuel tank of the old gas. Getting close!
