@bhsdriller Got you the big boy! Now you can begin the hunt for a 206 / 4C swivel base.

Nice, I'm currently looking at a Reed 1C and a Littleston,, I'm in Central Obamastan, so there are probably some nice vices around here, if you could get them to turn loose of one, lol.. we had Greene Co Days last week, one of my brothers former co-workers had a very nice collection of International Harvester tractors on display.. but he had also fixed up his shed with lots of goodies, including a bar with ear corn in the base, and shelled corn on the table top under glass,, pretty kool... I was going to get my Dads old vise, but when I spoke for it, my little brother whined that he wanted it??? LOL oh well, he is the baby...I ended up getting the 4C from above. Is pretty clean just some weld slag and the handles bent but doesn't bother me.

I will do my best,, thats why I asked.. I have a 3 1/2" Columbiana that is in pretty decent shape for the most part... I'd really love a nice anvil as well.@billymagg I wouldn't pay over $35 for a Littleston vise. They are light duty and on the small side (not small enough to be cool). They are also the most common vise out there. They must have made 10 million of those guys! The 1C is definitely a "get" though as long as it is complete (base, pipe jaws, top jaws). Send pics when you grab them!
I’m almost curious about where this is at, and wonder if the screw diameter is the same size and pitch of my 715. What I’ve found sometimes is that if enough force is used to bend the handle like that, the screw can get bent too.I saw a poor old Athol 623 last week. It looked like someone had sledgehammered it out/off of the work bench it was attached to (still attached to a good piece of splintered timber. Main handle bent pretty good and swivel handle bent. Slide had a chunk broken out of it. priced at $75
@FARMAN33 That Reed is really nice!
