WOW! Amen to that! How long do you think it will take you to wear out the new ones? :)

Meh, I probably won't replace them yet, just install them the other way. Maybe swap the driver and passenger sides.

It doesn't look like @SouthBostonFJ40 is still making them, but I hear @SMG is I think.

There may also be another pack in my parts pile from when I bought the originals, I'll have to check.

I've got the ones from SMG. Very impressed. I used to replace the Teflon ones every other year or so. I put the SMG ones in and thought ' these are great, now they will last forever!'. Perhaps not.

Well done.

Nah, it looks more like a $300 photoshoot for Bring a Trailer

When I saw that big rope wrapped around the bumper I knew you were under durress.

It really ties the shoot together......

When the artistic design crew was wrapping the first rope around the bumper the girl asked me "does this look like something that would look normal on a Land Cruiser?" (As she is looking at pics of Jeeps on her phone.) I had to pick my words carefully, because my first thought was, "no, that just looks gay."

Firstly, Your LC looks the part against that beautiful backdrop. 🏆

Where in Montana did they find a 7ft Masai to drive it? Ismay?

You can never be to careful - a winch and a rope is a great idea.

Is it a photo shoot, or a video shoot? Either way, congrats, very exciting! And with the beautiful backdrop of the mountains behind you, I was reminded of this very well shot & produced short video about a guy's companion / FJ40 that I saw years ago and looked at my wife (back then) and said "One of these days I've got to get one of those!" Check it out:

It's a mixture of both. I just get to play the hurry up and wait game until they need my 40 for a prop.
