NICE! So THAT'S what the photo shoot was for! I wish they had shown your 40 more! I'm guessing it is shown throughout the calendar. That's got to make you feel good!
I hear there is a pic or two in their IG.

Put about 800 miles on the 40 in the last week on a road trip around SW Montana into a remote corner of Yellowstone to go check on some fish. Got a great float trip down some major river knocked out, caught a few fish. Hit up almost every fly shop in that corner of the state (support them small businesses yo) and a few breweries as well. Braved the hordes of tourists petting the fluffy cows in Yellowstone.

Maybe a couple of near misses from the 40 along the way, it died a couple of times leaving a rest stop, acted like maybe the fuel boiled out of the carb, after restarting it and pumping the gas for a bit it smoothed out and away we went.

Being at a higher elevation it felt like it lacked some power, plus we were loaded down with a weeks worth of camping and fishing gear. A few times I caught the whiff of burning clutch. Maybe it was the big RVs hammering down on their brakes, time will tell.

I'm also dealing with a transmission issue on it, when in high gear and not under a load (say doing 60-65 downhill) it wants to jump out of gear, and not peacefully. Once out of gear it won't sync up to go back into 4th without getting it into 3rd first. Imagine smashing it into 3rd going downhill at 60-65. That sucks. Not to mention all the tourists that drive like they just came out of the city tailgating a slow moving vehicle.

Pretty sure this checks out as a near miss also.

Looks like the Madison...

Edit: But that's a cuttie! Second guess the Jellystone outside the park.

On 1 hand I want to show my wife the video. On the other hand, I'm afraid she will then decide we need to my over there and escape the heat and humidity! She and our 2 sons have never seen the rocky mountains. I need to take them sometime. Twice. Once in the winter so they can experience real snow and not just enough to see some white on the grass. Another time in the summer.

When I was young I loved going camping and fishing in the Rockies with my dad.

No worries... 99.99% of the southern boys are prolly spring creekers

Not like the Madison is a secret! The creek the cutty came from isn't a secret either, and if a guy can get lucky enough to get a permit there one should savor every moment of it. It's a long walk to the really good fishing, arguably the best creek in Yellowstone, and some may even say the lower 48.

If you didn’t fall in love or adopt a beautiful child during that photo shoot it’s your own fault.
After seeing the behind the scenes world of those kids, and models, I have come to the conclusion that I can't afford any of that!

I can barely afford my current hobbies.

Can you imagine trying to stuff a toddler into a blazer?
