Sounds good. Yeah I only get that error when snowing or heavy rain also. Which I would get with the oem grill as well.

So why does the radar shoot through the original T logo fine but have trouble with the TOYOTA logo? You were using the smaller logo, right? I wonder if the smaller logo has more metal in (or maybe just metallic paint?) it while the larger TOYOTA logo is all plastic? The PCS radar should work fine through plastic since it's non-reflective.

I don't have any issues with mine. Centered and used screws and double sided tape.

The small logo is all metal.

Based on this thread, I would say that the small logo, which apparently is metal, isn't going work easily with the PCS/adaptive cruise control radar, unless you attempt to move the radar or place the logo much higher on the grill. However the larger plastic logo should work fine even when centered in front of the radar. @codyaustin5 seems to confirm that.

Seems that way. When I get home I will put it back the way it was and check it out

YES YES YES! Ok. Late to this post. But this is something I wanted to do years ago. Glad to see someone did it! I even have the Toyota logo. Just need to get around to following through on what folks did. :)

I bought it here:
-Comes in Piano Black, which is fine if your Cruiser is black.
For other colors, I think matte looks better. I used Krylon plastic fusion paint and it comes out nice.

NOTE that it says 08-09. I am uncertain of the significance there for later models.

I think this might also work on later models as well. Based on it looks like there are other sellers on there selling other grilles that fit '08-'15.

Might pick one of these up and report back. Unless someone has a link for an inexpensive matte finished one.

There is also the chrome option...

So what did you all do with the front camera?

Mine was moved with the arb bumper istall

Has anyone tried to paint or powder coat their hex grille? I'm thinking of going with a dark grey or titanium color.

Mine is painted flat black. Go back to page one of this thread and scroll down for photos...

Sprayed as is with plastic fusion paint from Krylon.

I'm going to throw a flat cc on mine before I install it.

Minor details count in the grand overall scheme - Try keep it all cohesive and it'll tie in nicely. My bumpers (f/r), grill, sliders and roof rack are all satin finish. Just something to think about if you're toying with ideas. When you introduce a new finish to an existing theme it may not look that great

Willy makes a good point. When my bumpers finally go on, I may switch it to satin black vs. the flat black I went with when I did mine prior to bumpers. Not sure I'll care...but it's something I hadn't thought of when I did it without bumpers.

I'm going flat black all around, bumpers, wheels, etc. Everything shows up in varying shades of satin black and fades over time. I figure a shot of flat cc will tidy everything up.

Ya, I suspect that so much of my grill will be obscured by large driving lights & winch control unit that I might not care. We'll see...
