Saw you posted a link to Chris’s 8274 mount plate he makes for your truck. Not positive you bought one or not but it won’t work. He made a proper fitting one for the first time for my truck and it will be in my hands Monday. I’ll post pics on my trucks thread and his small business thread as well showing the differences in the laser program he had to adjust.
Yes the profile was too high. I sent it on to another customer and he refunded me. I am going to put one of my 8274s on the Troopy (Parts diagram shows an 8274 as the electric OEM option for that vehicle) and probably sell the other one. I don't think I will put one on the pig because I don't want to cut the frame rivets to install the extensions. On the other hand, I just might because I have the OEM extensions.

Got a few goodies from Yemen. Some for me and some for others. If anyone needs a set of OEM front turn signals for 1975 models and up (01/75 through 80), I have an extra NOS set. They are not cheap but you can have them for what I paid for them. PM me if interested.

Yemen fella has some nice stuff. He doesn’t seem to like to separate an entire rear end worrh of lights and reflectors though.
Pretty sure I wouldn't do that either. Just buy the assembly; it's only money.

It isn’t a single assembly I was after… for instance he has 2 reflectors, 2 tailights, 2 reverse lights and wants to sell all 6 at once verse just a set of tailights.

Gotcha.

When is soon?
Been a bit busy the last few days. We threw a small party for friends and family last night. Soon is hopefully next week.

It was quite a party. Combination "back in the USA to stay" and retirement party. Friends flew in from all over the US and the Middle East. We went to bed around midnight as the vendors were breaking things down. Woke up to this crime scene the next morning. Coordinator is checking with vendors to see who the guilty party might be. Thankfully I think I have all the parts to that light. Maybe this will motivate me to get my shop in working order sooner than later.

That's terrible Greg. So sorry. But congrats on being back home and the retirement!
As bobm says, "It's only metal". I'll have to say though it's taken a full day to start to shrug it off. Knowing that I have (or can get) all the side marker light parts helps.

I'm with Bob, just look at him, giving you the side eye. Our Llamas would of done that in a heart beat. You can never trust an animal that likes to spit on you. :)

Sorry to see that damage and it was just sitting there.
