After a hiatus to be a kid, @Cowboy45 is eating this elephant one bite at a time. Nice to see. Getting prepped for fzj80 rhd power steering conversion. Also freeing the engine bay for drive train mock up take 2. LS 6.0/h55/splitcase.

I served as shop sweeper and tool hander.

Very happy to see @Cowboy45 wearing safety equipment

Raised bed garden is planted. Sunset was nice. Forget at times to appreciate the sun setting. Cicadian rhythm reset. Amidst all, simple things bring my 32s out.

are you going to try and use the vacuum shift on the splitcase?

Had a little distraction project at the house. Connecting to sewer from septic. These guys were pros. Made quick work with machines. Been chatting on the side with them. A business idea is budding.

@Cowboy45 is done with high school. Getting back to things. He and one his fellow college bound classmates helped separate the 2H engine off the chassis. They are both going into engineering at TX A&M! Got some hands on experience!

Congratulations to the young man on closing this chapter in his education. And to you and Kavi for leading him so well to the drinking source. There’s no doubt K will match or exceed the performance of his older brother. And I see the body is off the HJ60. I may have missed that part of the process and looking forward to seeing the results of your build.

So both elves are leaving for college in August. Got me a helper.

Can I come take over one of their bedrooms? I can help prevent leftovers every night too…. Just throwing it out there.
Hell yea! Unlimited sewer capacity as well.

Your hoist reminded me of my dad when my brother and I left for college.
While we were home and working on the farm, dad saw no need for a loader that could be fitted to one of our tractors. His sons could load the manure spreader with pitch forks and maintain a multi-ton hourly pace, so no need to spend the money for a loader.
Within weeks of us being gone to school, he purchased a loader and never looked back. As a special gift (to keep me humble) during my spring breaks all through college, I would get the pleasure of forking out the manure from all the areas in the barn that tractor/loader could not readily get to.

You appear to have hit upon somewhat similar story that your sons might enjoy revisiting with you in the coming decades. Kudos and congratulations on your future A&M grads.
