Ian and I were recently talking about 3rd world fun... and you story isn't making me want to go back. Nice troopy!
Thanks! I know a lot of people that have zero issues, we were just lucky I guess. ;)

Have you looked at fitting them yet ? Especially on the bench seat side ?

Not yet, I’m ordering Jeep flip up mounts first to adapt. These seats don’t go forward and some Jeep brackets allow the whole seat to eject forward. This way my kiddos can get in easily without me opening the back door.

Celeb pic!

How can I get a sticker?

I just realized how little I posted here. Lol. Anyway I did sell the Troopy a year and half ago. However I just bought it back! We sold to buy a house and we just bought one and so I reached out to who bought it to see if I could buy it back which he agreed to to my surprise. So I sold other stuff and boom! Bought it back this weekend.

Anyone know what model number ARB fits our ‘91 Troopy? TIA!

EDIT: Figured it out after multiple phone calls.

I have an ARB front bumper in route, front blinkers, rear tail lights, new front grill and lights on order. Figuring out front seats and brackets to get next. Then I gotta work on the windshield wiper motor/assembly, get a new battery and cables...the list goes on. Lol. She needs a lot of love!

My hood struts came in for the Jag from @c2dfj45 and they look good. Now to find time to install them. 😂

Wow that was fast.

Since this might be the first install.....a few tips to make an easy install: I like to mark my hood hinge and hood with a piece of masking tape....I cut that tape at the spot between the hood and the hinge. This should give you a good reference as to where the hood goes....alternatively you could tape out the hinge where it goes against the hood. There is some movement in those hinges both side to side and front to back when they come off so making sure you get it back exactly is a good idea.

You have to remove both OEM hood bolts obviously and use the longer supplied ones.....best to have a helping hand to carefully hold that hood up or stuff something between the hood and the cowl to support it....just remember it will move around once it's off the hinge. Use the prop rod for the front obviously. Again....it will want to move around...both the rear and the front so be careful.

Hinges are marked LH and RH....they go on the LH and RH side of the truck....nothing to do with driver position :)

Get them installed, line up those hinges carefully and snug them up.

Make sure the rubber pad is facing the hood surface(in case they were removed or fell out in shipping....they shouldn't)

The ball stud and flat washer are bolted into the inner fender.....pic attached is where they go. I would think there is a factory bolt in this spot that holds on the upper fender.

You'll have to have someone lift that hood WAY up off the prop rod to get those struts on....just snap them in and all good.

Enjoy no more prop rod!
