:bounce:So where is our update ? Have another Red Bull and post ;p

I have spark

I have timing

I have fuel

I have not slept in 24hrs

I have noise :frown: If the ignitor is unplugged and the engine is cranked all looks good but with the ignitor plugged in we are losing the timing signal due to noise from the HT leads. Seem's the coil pack above the dizzy may not have been the best place to put it. Have just picked up some 22nf Capacitors and 1K resistors so we can suppress the noise tomorrow and then hopefully set up the injectors.

Close but no cigar today.

Now just time for 3hrs sleep before work tonight :crybaby: and then back into it from work tomorrow morning.

Will need 2 RED BULLS tomorrow :D

If this is the problem, using shielded coaxial cable as the pickup lead would help. The pickup itself is fully shieled in a metal case.

It just doesn't seem likely that the Hall effect pickup and ignitor would be sensitive to RF interference because you can't get the high voltage any closer than inside the distributor cap itself. Maybe you just have a bad pickup.

They are not hall effect pickups they reluctant, hall would be far less of an issue.

She sounds HORN :D

Still fine tuning the program for the fuel map a little at a time on the Dyno up to 3000rpm when I left at 3pm, timing is still at the base map and yet to be honed in on the Dyno after the fuel.

Early number are looking good :D

Sound on the digital camera is not great, also have some on the DVD cam but that I will have to do later but for now here is a clip from the first.

The last 10 seconds are just  if the sound come out ok

Very nice Matt,
congratulations.
Can't wait to hear it roar in person.
(on that note- when are your next upcoming lazy days at home when you wouldn't mind a visitor and a few beers?:hillbilly:)

can't wait for the next vid,
Hans.

155KW/208hp at the rear wheel @5000rpm at the end of play today is the word from Joel at 8PSI and still tuning.

So we are double the old 2F so far.

Bedding the cam in prior to Dyno.

Matt,

That is too cool. I actually got a little misty. :grinpimp:
