Woo hoo, you must be pumped to be so close. Pity about the wait for the surge tank. :(

Thermo fan and Craig David water pump now come on with the ignition. Just have to zip tie up a few cables to make it neat.

The ECU is now calibrated for the TPS

Boost is calibrated too and working now though I can only blow 1.5 PSI on the gauge :D

So just the fuel and power steering hoses to hook up :steer:

Ok Sony DVD Handycam on charge

Water pump bypass hose ready to be fitted tomorrow along with all the power steering hoses/cooler, now the steering box is back on after been full rebuilt.

Have to remount the washer bottle, radiator over flow and both horns and reconnect the head lights.

Fingers crossed Wednesday sees the surge tank arrive, Thursday at the latest. If it does transport to the Dyno will be booked for Friday and Dyno on Monday, if not it will be the week after at the very latest as Monday is my free day

Spent most of the weekend going over the start up program that Joel has written, some of it I understand some I have yet to learn. Some I have altered and emailed back to Joel. If you want to have a look you can down load the Wolf V500 software for free here. Download Link and I can email the set up so far.

I'm going to beat you! Big gay is going in today.:D

Turbo timers are great as long as you are not upside down at comp, I have seen a couple of engines destroy themselves after the ignition has been turned off after a roll only for the turbo timer to keep it running, OOOOPPPPPS and most you can't override once the turbo timer has taken over.

We will not be running a turbo timer :D

The turbo timer on my RX 7 is actually manually operated. you hit a well placed button on shutoff and it keeps it running. you can turn it off normally. might be an idea if you decide to go with one in the future

I had a look at the wiring diagram and set up, it's not too hard to do. The ECU has a timer where it takes it's 12v from an alternative to the ignition. All I need to do is make that so I can switch it on and off.

Bypass hose connected water filled and pressure tested.

ARE WE THERE YET:hillbilly:

Fuel pump mounted along with the pressure regulator Surge tank comes in lunch time tomorrow. Fuel lines to connect once in place.

I's dotted T's crossed off to the DYNO on FRIDAY :steer: Ready for start up MONDAY

One final question for mudship.

The PCV valve on my 2F-ETI connects to the same location as would the 3FE, feeding into the plenum. My concern now is the PCV valve was expected originally to run in a Vacume enviroment. It will now also be posative pressure as well as vacume.

Is the PCV valve one way only and therfor not effected by boost or should I run the PCV valve no to a catch can? i don't want to be boosting the crank case

The PCV is only one way. It will close under boost.

Fuel lines made up.

Nice work. I'm looking forward to the dyno run.

Are you concerned about the stainless hose rubbing on stuff under the hood? I heard it wears-down everything that it touches.

It is a concern but a few choice clamps and zip ties once I have time will suffice.

Things only rub if they move.
