Ha not yet. But the look is growing on me....:)

At first look, I thought that WAS your rig! But then I was like, "wait...no...no lightbars...that's not Sammy's." :D

Big THANKS to Dave (Milemarker60) and Mike (FZJ80 in KC) for getting me into the 4x4 Labs rear bumper group buy and arranging shipping, saving me quite a bit of $$!!! I was able to weld up the rear bumper over the weekend and completed painting last night. Should have it on by tonight!

Looks great! Nice job Zane!!

Trying to get Boost back on the ground....

Rebuilt the rear full float axle. All new bearings and seals. First time for me -- it was gentle. Thanks to @beno thread!

Sleeved the rear LCA's and got them shot with some epoxy.

Started on the front axle, all new bearings installed. Time for reassembly.

Need to replace the transfer case rear output seal, before she gets the new center armor.

Well I ain't no Kelly "Foo machanic Extraordinaire" but I did put new 315's on GDZLLA. BFG KO2 A/T's.

Metal tech slider on driver had to be plasma cut to allow them to fit. They ride great. Will hit Potowtama soon and test aired-down.

Quite the weekend at the shop. Mike C. worked on his slider installation. There was a few inches of his rockers that had not been hit yet, and needed protection.

The new 40 got a wash down and started the list of what needs to be done before driving. Steering tapered shims have been installed. thanks @tornadoalleycruiser . Also thanks to Rob R. for discussions on parts, O2 sensor moving, exhaust gaskets, etc.

Boost wheels are back on the ground. Thanks to @milemarker60 for the like new pumpkins, I accelerate the front axle rebuild and did my first rear axle rebuild. Front had been done lately, so was pretty good. Only issue was the 2 bolts missing on the spindle. Oops.

Most of that work was over the last week, but got it wrapped up and back on the ground. Then on to the rear transfer case leak. Easy little rubber seal; however, you have to tear apart the tailhousing to get to. DOH. Done. Added new center armor and BAM, back on the ground.

Here is a shot of the LCA's that have been sleeved with DOM. Testing to come at Smorr, as they will be under Mike C's and Lexi.

Holy crap...I just laughed (yes, out loud) at work!

Not to mention the few more inches I adjusted.....with a sledgehammer...ahem...to make them fit tight...

This SOOOOOOO should have been my first mod......sigh.... :bang:

As always, thanks for the shop time!

Wow! I missed a bunch! Would rather have been wrenching with you all but life happens.

Yeah,

Work is over-rated, and life happens -- or was it poop happens???

Hmmmmmm.

Oh well.

p.s. Jess left his bushing insert tools, thanks @cjmoon so when you have time, you can press in those pretty ends.

Found this on the floor in front of the drivers seat in my 80. As near as I can tell everything works correctly (gas pedal, brake pedal, heater vents).

Anyone know what it goes to?

Looks like brake pedal return spring

I will have to look and someone else's 80 and see if I can figure out where it is located up there.

Here is a shot. Brake pedal is correct. If you want a better look Lexi is unlocked.
