Oh yes the Prado guages. Those aren’t real heavy duty guages …Have you seen the digital gauges out there.... saw one for 70 series retrofit on Facebook, can't find it now... similar to this..

For the lights I just tied into the cigarette lighter like @FJ73Texas. Don’t worry, no scotch locks were used in the modding of this cruiser.
It looks amazing. I’ve been wanting one for myself as well.

Ah! That does make it easy. I like the alpine double din stereos too! Probably a stupid question but do you happen to know if anyone sells a super easy, automatic on/off voltage adapter type thing? Basically something for the electrically challenged. I’ve had ones that worked fine, but you had to remember to turn them off at a switch or else they killed your battery. It’s an alpine ilx-007 I think. 12v. My rig is Australian so 12v
CarPlay is nice…

Could you power it through an ignition switched relay to shut off every time the key is turned off?Ah! That does make it easy. I like the alpine double din stereos too! I didn’t think I would like car play fancy double DINs, but I had the radio from another vehicle so cost was nothing. Mine is older so it doesn’t have a lot of the new car play features and there isn’t any updates. The Alpine looks good in there. I don't know if Alpine does it, but I've had Pioneer double dins that let you chose RHD or LHD. It's nice as it puts the CarPlay side bar menu closer to the steering wheel in RHD mode. It was buried in the settings but I'm not sure if Alpine offers such things

A penny for every skinned knuckle you get trying to replace that will probably pay for the gasket...
