Good on Ya...but quick question for future reference.

I see you pulled it and fixed it on the bench...what’s your opinion on the easiest way to do this...pull it like you did and work on the bench or try to do this underneath and still on the truck?

I cant imagine trying to do this while on the truck now...

@wngrog you got room on that property to put me up in a nice little cottage? Maybe I could be a full time employee, I make quick work of all these transmission and engines swaps 😁

(I can do a whole complete knuckle rebuild including cleaning everything in 6-7 hours too)

few updates:

added front frunner rack (only picture I have at this time)
started on sound deadening and new carpet. Carpet kit sourced from @dnp
Sound deadening laid down all over with some solid help from my son and then I started fitting carpet. Carpet takes longer than I anticipated and will require a little more patience than I had this day so it is sitting for a few days.

See post #825 in this thread. I posted pics of the SRK-4000 bracket. Highly recommend the extension lever from Lokar as well. Tight fit working the cable around the brake booster but doable. Curious if these other brackets make for a cleaner install with the cable.

Finished up my carpet install, fairly happy with it. Covered it all up with Lloyd mats so should be good to go. Made a world of difference inside the cab. Took a poser drive way shot as I was backing it in as well.

This wrapped up the last big ticket item for this truck for awhile or till I find something fun to bolt on...just so @wngrog can give me some s*** for it!

Haven’t updated in awhile. Been putting miles on this setup pretty steady.

After a day long trip with @wngrog my starter took a dump on me. It’s basically the only part of the truck I haven’t touched. So, threw a new starter on and back in business.

@orangefj45 got his hands on some Harrop dif breathers and sent me one. These are my favorite breather because they vent to a snorkel or air box. Took some time Saturday and got these hooked up. The air box I’m running had two capped ports so no need to drill. Ignore the dirty engine bay... truck has been putting in work!

Thanks man. Time to book a flight, no need to have to 60 sitting!!

Does anyone have pictures of the lokar mount made for the sniper? The TCB-40hs1??
Took the 60 to the mountains this weekend and my lack of tps (max 52%) has me making the leap from rod linkage to throttle cable coming soon.

a few cool shots from this weekend

Why are you only getting 52%? I get WOT with my sniper setup.
Not enough movement/length in my rod linkage to get pass it. Never been an issue where I live and drive but in the mountains you need the rest.
