I should have sourced this from you Cam... hindsight is 20-20

I’ll check everything once I’m on a computer but can someone tell me If I’m correct in thinking the fittings in this picture should fit the hole on the block off plate. Got these from manafre and they don’t fit however the fitting so for the air rail do fit the hole. Is this a bad set or am I missing something?

That looks like the manafree plate for your pcv valve. Also, those look like the right size for the air rail. You have two sizes two for your thermostat housing and then 6 for the air rail.

It finishes out even nicer with the insulator covering up the intake for the added heat protection. I should have bought a new one instead of cutting down my original because it was cracked. I may go back and install a new one.

Oh nice. This plate and elbow are pretty much exactly what I was thinking of doing on my own for my truck.

And yeah...the fitting on the left is for the air injector and the one top center is for the T-stat housing.

The small ones are for the air, and the big round one is for the t-stat. Where does the elbow go and what screws in to the actual plate?

Its where you dumb your pcv on the side of the intake.

I have a better picture somewhere, but this is off the first page of this thread. @soe lost

Well...Its hard to tell in that photo but that elbow should thread into that plate and then you would run a hose off of the elbow over to your PCV valve. But in your photo the threads on the elbow look too big for the plate.

this is the latest picture off their site and it looks more like matching threads.

If your elbow wont thread into the block off plate then you can probably find the proper elbow at the local hardware store or home depot. Just take the plate with you and match up the appropriate barbed elbow in the plumbing section.

Here is the diagram:

hose runs from side of intake around behind the air cleaner and down the passenger side of the engine to where the PCV valve sits in its grommet and pipe.

Depends on how stock your truck is, but I was able to modify the original hard line and get a short piece of rubber hose to use as a jumper to the elbow. I basically kept the factory setup, but cut the hard line so I could tap into it with the rubber hose and manfree elbow.

Some places sell the plate without the hole so I assumed the manafre plate came with 2 fitting so you can choose, but when none of them fit I started questioning everything. Thanks for clarifying. One headache gone.

Yeah, my thought was to bend up a hard line to run the whole route with just a small hose to connect to the elbow on the engine side and small joiner on the PCV side.....basically reduce hose needed down to a couple inches.

I went road of least resistance. Mine factory setup is in tack, but I cut a the hard line about 4" or so from manafree plate to run the runner hose. It was super easy.

wyotovich and I have had some private conversation going on about his cable hook-up. My FiTech/Sniper installation kits come with the brass cable fitting that attaches the throttle cable to the throttle body arm, but a brass bushing is needed to adapt my cable fitting to the larger hole in the throttle body. I normally supply McMaster Carr 5/16" O.D. bushing #6391K114 for this adaption, but evidently the hole in wyotovich's Sniper

throttle body arm is only 1/4" I.D., sooooo I have told him to merely drill the hole out from 1/4" to 5/16"

I'm not keen on drilling on the Sniper - especially since it is installed on the engine and running fine. I ordered Lokar S-1034 . It will be here tomorrow, if that works as I am hoping that will be that.

Lokar S-1034 to connect wire throttle cable to Sniper worked perfectly. I have a gas pedal again!

I’ve been waiting for @Racer65 to get his power steering pumps back in stock so I can have a new pump with my fresh gear box. So yesterday I got it installed. Only to have it blow fluid out of the retaining nut. I tightened it down and still had fluid every where. I shot a message of to racer65 last night and he got back to me right away. Told me to check my old box and see about an O-ring on retainer nut. Sure enough my old box had an o-ring on the retaining nut the new one did not. So, I tore it all back out today and removed the pulley to install my old retaining nut into the new box. Once I got it all back together no leaks. After the fact I see the instructions in the box...... I also installed new hoses. I used the one racer65 recommends on his site. I really like how it sits low flat and out of the way. She is rolling smooth now with a new pump and box!

Two high pressure hoses if you need part numbers. Got the Edelman off of amazon.

The 60 also got de-racked today and I am really digging it.

What was the issue with your gas pedal??? Mine in much higher than previously....and not exactly sure if I'm going to get use to it....kinda liked it where it was.
